Set in its own valley on the way to the window in the rock, La Moinerie is conveniently set behind La Seignueirie Gardens.

La Moinerie Hotel is an old Farmhouse building built in 1728 on the site of an old Monastery ruins from the fifth century A.D., it was converted into a hotel in the twentieth century and given a superb yet sympathetic & gentle refurbishment in 2008.

La Moinerie has five letting double rooms all with flat screen televisions, gorgeous furniture and modern high specification en-suite’s. The Hotel, Bar & Restaurants now remain open year round, apart from chosen weeks.

Many would say though, that La Moinerie is more known for its seafood and over all high quality of cooking, Lobsters, Crabs, King Scallops, Sea Bass, Turbot & Brill are all specialities, and are caught, like for the previous ten years by the same fisherman as ever Jonathon Shuker, a previous proprietor.

The current Co-proprietor/Chef is Mr Andrew Tortice, he along with his Partner Nikki have taken over the reins of La Moinerie. Andrew, his partner Nikki and manager Charles Timothy Cowell, all look forward to welcoming and spoiling you.

With a three night stay or longer, you are entitled to an exclusive invitation to visit the sumptuous gardens on Brecqhou, with cart, boat journeys and a two hour guided tour all before lunch, you shall be left feeling special.
